The Start of my new blog

22 10 2007

I have finally got round to starting my new photography blog. In this blog i aim to take at least 5 photos a week and upload them. This will hopefully put some pressure on me to look for more photo opportunities in everyday life. As i am on half term this shouldn’t be a problem but i really want to continue taking shots when i return to school later next week.

I am a Primary school teacher who studied A-level photography but had to quit due to financial reasons and more demanding other A-level subjects. After purchasing my Canon 350D two years back i have been able to experiment more without the cost of developing them. I use Photoshop in most of my work and have only recently turned to shooting in RAW. (If you haven’t shot in RAW yet, DO IT! it isn’t as hard a you may think and the difference you will see is amazing).

I have already taken plenty of photos and uploaded them onto my flickr account. My first post is a Mosaic selection of some of my favourites:
